So I’ve been harping on the difference between what you guys see the sun do in the states verse what we see here at McMurdo and I’ve been having a hard time of trying to figure out how to best describe it. I have struck upon a way to show you however, take a peek.

Remember that we are 9000 miles (plus or minus a few) away from you diagonally. With daylight saving now in effect for you, we are plus 20 hours or you can also think of it as plus one day minus 4 hours (this is for denver).
